RM of Indian Head’s story
The Rural Municipality of Indian Head No. 156 sits in the southeast part of Saskatchewan. The first settlers moved into the district in 1882, and the RM was incorporated on August 6, 1884.
Today the municipality surrounds the towns of Indian Head and Sintaluta, along with part of the resort village of Katepwa. Its council and administrator run local affairs from an office in the town of Indian Head.
